ちょっちょっちょっ、、ちょうちょ！！　～メキシコシティからショートトリップ編～

メキシコの日本人宿、深夜２時。
世界中の日本人宿がそうであるよう、日本よりむしろ日本らしいと思えるような日常がある。
扉の外とは完全に切り離された日本の飛び地、モラトリアムな空気を孕んだゆるーい場所。
ダラダラと次の朝には忘れちゃうような会話の中で、僕とアイツの物語は始まった・・・

日本に居られない理由でもあるのかどこか影のある美女、テキーラの力かすぐに打ち解けあい、激しく燃え上がる一夜限りの・・・

The story was started here.
I got some information about some million butterflies are gathering deep mountain 200km from here.


はーい男でーす。ごりごりの大阪人でーす
今回は自転車マインドを広めるべく、アミーゴで出会ったバックパッカーツルちゃんと、はるばるカナダから越冬しにきてるチョウチョ群を見に自転車で行くことに！
ツルちゃんは自転車でクンジュラブを越えたりラクダでモンゴル旅したりかなりおもろなりそうな予感！悪寒！！
This times partner is this Japanese backpacker Tsuru! we deside to go the butterfly mountain by bicycle!
He has some great experiences those are passed the Kunjurabu pass between China and Pakistan and traveled by camel at Mongol.
It'll be interesting!!

ってかほんとに悪寒なんdeath・・・
毎日安テキーラ飲みすぎて身体が疲れて扁桃腺が腫れ、おまけに風邪まで引いて体調は最悪。
出発２日ずらしてもらって、抗生物質＋ロキソニンの２倍飲みしたけど改善の兆候梨！
But I had bad feelling,,,tonsillitis and cold. cause of drunk too much.
There's no signs of recover in spite of staggered the departure and I took two times amount of antibiotics and analgesics.


とはいえずっとだらだらしてるわけにも行かーん！ので、
アミーゴのみんなに見送られしゅっぱつ。チョーチョ待ってろー！！
although the friends who stayed Pension Amigo saw of us, we depertured!!
because we shouldn't stay long, it's need to pay!



宿を出て30分で早くも上りに入る。１時間上れば・・・くらいに考えてたら坂道が終わらん。
先に休憩してるぼくんとこに死相を浮かべながら上ってくるツルちゃん。
宿でいつもダラダラしてるぼくを見てツルちゃんは余裕で勝てると思ってたらしいけど、そこは自転車乗り。ぼくもカナダからこいで来てますから！
１時間こいで40分待ってを繰り返し、ようやく峠のてっぺん。なんと気付けば1000mアップで標高3100mに！
これってイエローストーン・ヨセミテレベルじゃ・・((((；ﾟДﾟ)))
We entered steep hill only 30minutes from deperture. It was so long more than our expected.
My partner Tsuru thought he can run faster than me because I was so lazy in our hotel.
He came up the hill with paled face. its seemed already over his limit.
I pedale one hour and waite 40minutes over again for him.
in evening, I reached the top of mountain, the elevation is 3100m! I went up 1000m!!


山を登りきるとすぐ横は雪山。寒い。
食料が無かったので次のコンビニまで来るやろーとツルちゃんを待つ事２時間。こない、、、日が暮れる、、、　ツルちゃん、、、　
９時前まで待ったけど結局ツルちゃんと合流できず。ってかパンク修理道具はツルちゃん持ち、ツルちゃんは自炊道具なし地図なし、、、
もし明日出あえんかったらお互い旅を続けれそうに無い。　どうなるすんげー不安な二人旅初日！！
So cold! the neighbor mountain was snowed.
I waited 2hour for Tsuru, but he didn't come,,,
He didn't have some food and map,and I didn't have repair tool for bike. cause of we shared our laggage.
If we can't meet tomorrow, our travel was finished!


次の日は体調がさらに悪化しまったく走れず道路中央の緑地帯で力尽き、ツルちゃんを待ちつつ寝る。
するとやっぱり警察官に起こされる。
分からんって言ってんのにスペイン語でお説教されてると、視界の隅をオレンジ色のものがかすめた！太陽を受けさらにオレンジ色を増したあのスパッツはー！！
警官に、ほんまさーせん！とバックレ決めこみツルちゃんのケツを追う。　奇跡の再会！助かった～
Next morning, my condition was became worth, I broke down in median strip on the road.
suddenly I waked up by pollice and scolded him. so I noticed some orange matter acrossed my view.
The orange tights was Tsuru!! fortunately we joined!

ちなみにツルちゃんの乗ってる自転車について、
このちょっと前、アミーゴで自転車でロスで自転車買ってNYを目指したいってゆう森本青年と出会い、パンクとかの修理の練習で宿に乗り捨ててあった自転車を整備した。
ツルちゃんはそれに乗ってチョウチョを目指す！　ちなみにその森本君はR66で極寒のアメリカを爆走中。見かけたらビールでもおごってやってください。
incidentally, about Tsuru's bike.
few days ago in hotel, I met a Japanese backpacker who will bigin the travel the R66 in U.S by bike.
He has no knowridgh of bike. so I repaired the bike tha was left some traveler 10 and more years ago at hotel for teach repairing.
so now, the Japanese guy are running R66 in this coldest season. if you see him, please treat him to some hot drink.


出発前に自転車の空気入れを無くしてて、パンクしたら旅が一発終了の危機と走ってたけど、最後の町で自転車屋を発見！
メキシコシティの自転車問屋街より品揃えが良く、そしてなぜか安い。店員もちゃんと自転車乗りっぽい(笑)
I lost my pump for bike before deperture, it'll be finished our travel if we get flat-tire.
but we found cycling shop before last big city!
Strange to say, the shop was cheaper and more abundant than wholesale dealers at Mexico city.
above all, the stuff looked like cyclist.


次の日からはアメリカの国立公園のような杉の大木の茂る高原地帯を上って下りて。
かなり足に来てるはずのツルちゃん、それでも休憩終わってスタートする時の飛び出しはゼロヨン並み！
そのダッシュが続くのもやっぱりゼロヨン、、400m(笑)
at next day, we entered highlands area looks like narional park of U.S or Canada.
Tsuru must has terrible muscle pains, but his mind was not dead!
his start-dash was liked rocket! but only few hundred meters...


３日間死ぬ気で上り続けた見返りをもらう、豪快な下り！　１時間下りっぱなし！
3days we fighted against so many hills, we got collation, stirring 1hour descent!!


３日かけてたどり着いたシタクアロという町。　チョウチョ観光スポットに向かう拠点の町にアクセスするための町。やけに女子高生がかわいい町。
We reached the Zitakuaro that is the access city to the base city of batterfly mountain.
This city has so many fake. Is here china??

This is fake Suunto.


こちらチョウチョがやってくるミチョアカン州のナンバープレート。
カナダもアメリカもメキシコも、ナンバープレートに遊び心があっておしゃれ、そうゆうところの余裕って素敵。
This is number-plate of this district. There is no like this ideas in Japan.


ここまで死ぬ気で走ってきた相棒と日本食でおつー！　と、入った日本料理屋のTVで衝撃の事実を知る！！
数日前まで降ってた大雨でチョウチョ観光の拠点の村アンガンゲオで土石流が発生、死者も出て観光どころかその村に向かうバスも止まってるとの事・・。
ついでにその大雨でチョウチョがびっくりしていなくなったとかならないとか！
その情報、メキシコシティ出る前に聞きたかったよ・・・

so... there TV streamed the terible news over again...
River rised swell and flush Angangeo that is base village of butterfly seeing, cause of recentlys heavy rain.
about 30people dead by it and road was cut off... Butterfly seems to disapear somewhere...


バスチケット売り場のカワイすぎるお姉ちゃんに見送られ、シタクアロからアンガンゲオ手前のオカンポという村までとりあえず向かってみる。
anyway, we try to go as much as posible to go. we could go to Ocampo village that is city of this side of Angangeo.


なんとオカンポからもチョウチョ行きの乗り合いタクシーがあり、チョウチョがおるかは分からんけどとりあえず行ってみる。
Luckily, we found the omnibus to butterfly seeing! It was not sure butterfly is there.


ここにも大雨の傷跡が。
土砂崩れでできた川が道を横切っていて、タクシーを降りてそこから歩く。
Scar of heaby rain, there was new river across the road.
get off the omnibus and walk from there.


チョウチョへと続く道。標高3000m弱、息が切れる。
Road to butterfly. 3000m elevate here. panted for breath.


蝶保護区の入り口。すげー鮮やかさ。

ふら～っと、さっそくチョウチョ発見。
Prompty we found some unsteadily butterflys.


こちらがモナルカ蝶。(和名：オオカバマダラ)
カナダのロッキー山脈から越冬のため、数百万の大群で4000km離れたメキシコの山奥までやってくる。
アメリカ辺りのチューリップ畑で手を打ちゃあいいのに・・と思ってまうけど、ちゃんと理由がある！
なんとこのモナルカ蝶、薬中なんです・・。
毒物アルカロイド（モルヒネやコカインもアルカロイドの一種）を含むもみの木がここには生えていて、
はるばる4000kmも離れた山奥のドラッグ目指し、この不良チョウチョはふらふら～とやって来るというわけです。
おまけに、この薬中チョウチョは他のと比べて５倍も長生き。
This is Monarka butterfly that fly from Rocky mountain in Canada!! about 4000km!
Why they can't compromise at tulip farm around Rocky...
in fact, this monarka butterfly is alkaloid-holic!! they fly here for precious alkaloid trees.


入ってすぐはちらほら、奥に進むにつれて数が増えてくる。
足元見ながら歩かんと踏んでしまう。

かゆっと思って腕見たら、チョウチョが袖に管入れてました。2月10日の11字05分ごろでございます(笑)
This butterfly inserted tube to my sleebe. it was in 11:05am.10.Feb.


そして太陽の差し込んできた正午ごろ、それまで森に同化してた大量の蝶が太陽に温められていっせいに舞いだした！！
見上げると空一面チョウチョだらけ！！右から左、上から下と、黄色い嵐の中に迷い込んだよう。
さらに山奥へと進むと、足の踏み場も無いくらいにチョウチョがたむろしてて、足で払いながら一歩ずつ進む。

それがさらにエスカレートし・・・
足から頭までチョウチョだらけ、飛んでくるチョウチョがバシバシ顔に当たる。
んでもって地面にも、半死半生のチョウチョが上から上から次々と重なり40cmくらいの層になってる。
足でどんだけ払っても払いきれず、木の枝をホウキみたいに使って進む。
正直ちょっと、、、　キモイ。　虫嫌いはまず来れません。
Just then I go forward to deapth, no place to step. and so many butterflies perched whole my body.
half-dead butterflies were overlaped and layered 40cm!!
I frushed up its by my foot and some branch for advance.
the people whp dislike insects can't come here absolutely!


舞えー！！

一見ここはモナルカ蝶が羽を休める楽園に見える。
けど、ここまで渡ってきたチョウチョはここで交尾し、死ぬ。その子供達もまた世代交代を繰り返しながらカナダに戻り、途絶える事のない輪廻が描かれ続ける。
新しい命が生まれるすぐ横で息絶える蝶の山。
生のための死。　人間が忘れかけている生き物としての本来の姿がここにあふれている。
Here looks the butterflies heaven for rest feather. but it's not true.
Here is a plase of death and born.
Butterflies keep to turn genalation and back to Canadian Rocky.


増水した川に靴を落とした人たち。
The people who droped them shoe into river.


帰りにまた1000mアップを超える気力はなく、バスでメキシコシティに戻る。
自転車で一日かけてこいだ道を、車は一時間で走る。
三日かけた道のりをたった３時間で帰ってきてしまった。
なんかあっけない思いにとらわれながらも、アミーゴに戻ってビールで乾杯！おつかれしたー
We took bus for back to Mexicocity.
One day for bicycle is one hour for bus. We backed only three hours. It's too soon!!

いやーほんま良かった。
チョウチョはちっさくて写真には写しこみづらいけど、それだけにガイドブックで見る以上の感動があった。
ここまでの景色の中でダントツの迫力！　季節とさらにタイミングも合ってあれだけきれいなものを見るのは難しいかも知らんけど、みんなにオススメできるスポットです。
Difficult to shot butterflies into photofragh.so it was amazing more than watching guidebooks.
That was best viewing of this travel untill today!!

えっ、年賀状が届いてないって？　ばーろー！旧正月を祝えってんだ！！～Mexico city編～

はいさい！
約３週間遅れでお送りしていますこのブログ、、、
時間軸をぐぐっと現在に近づける起死回生のリーサルウェポン、２週間のメキシコシティ滞在日記をまとめてどぞ～
！Hora！
Diary has been delayed three weeks from now...
But I use the Lethal Wepon!! 20days Mexico city dialy go ahead!!

さて、テオティワカンを出発し、大渋滞排ガス高層ビルだらけのメキシコシティ中心部に向かう。
So, departing from Teotihuacan, I aimed at the central of Mexico City. Tere are so many skyscrapers, many people, boring traffic exhaust noise.


着いたのはここ！
アメリカ大陸を北上南下する旅人が交差する有名な日本人宿、ペンションアミーゴ。
首都の宿にしては破格の二日目から70ペソ(500円)。これは長居してしまいそうな危険な悪寒・・・
I arrived the Cheap hotel in Japanese management, Penshon Amigo.
Many travelers come here to north and south Americas.
Cheap hotels in the capital as it. 70 pesos per night(5$).
Presentiment dangerous to stay away so long...


短期旅行者から住んでる人まで、アジアの宿に比べると圧倒的に年齢層が高い。
それゆえ落ち着いたと言うかやる気が無いというか・・・　とにかく深みのある素敵な旅人が多い！！
There are short term traveler and long term travelers and, seems almost residents.
Age is high compared with Asian tourists.


この日はたこ焼きパーティー。
大阪人の腕の見せ所・・　と思いきや案外大阪人だらけでむしろできない大阪人に。ここでついたアダ名はたらちゃん・・。
On this day Takoyaki (it's soul food of my city Osaka) party.


町の中心は石畳で走りにくいけど、ヨーロッパのよな町並み。行ったことないけど(笑)
I ran hard in the center of the town's cobbled streets,
Great atmosphere of buildings surrounded by colonial buildings in Europe.


町の中心ソカロはただいま絶賛占拠中。
左の人らがパレードやら立て籠もりでがんばっております。
ちなみに、世界一の大金持ちってメキシコ人なの知ってますか？
Zocalo is the center of town is currently occupied.
Recently active communist activities.
Do you know the richest man in the world is Mexican?


ソカロの横にも遺跡がある。というか遺跡の上にソカロがある。
というのも、ここメキシコシティはスペイン人が来るまで湖の中に浮かんだおしゃれ都市で、スペイン人の侵攻で湖・遺跡も埋め立てられた。
There also remains next to the Zocalo. I mean, there is a city on the ruins.
Because, before the invasion of Spain, Mexico City was a city floating in the lake.
For took the religion of local people and to reduce the resistance,
Spanish people destroyed the town and also reclaimed lakes.


土曜日に開かれる音楽の市へ。
今まで見てきた感じでは、音楽シーンの主流はホーンが入って陽気なメキシコ音楽で、それ以外の音楽は一気にマイナーになる。
そしてこれはそのマイナーミュージックが一挙に集まる市。
お店のジャンル的には若者に人気のメタル、ゴリゴリのヴィジュアル、レゲエ、そして一軒だけスカの店も！

一軒だけあったスカの店には和モノも！　スカパラ、オイスカ、ロッキングタイム。
気になるお値段は80ペソ(560円)と他の海賊版(3ペソ＝21円)と比べると27倍のボーリングプライス。
Only one ska shop has Japanese CD's. Tokyo ska paradise orchestra,Oi-skallmates,Rocking Time.
The price is 80pesos(6$),Other pirated as compared to 27 times.


こちらは前衛芸術家のパフォーマンス。
泣いてる女の人が裸になり、全身にペイントされ、携帯電話・パソコン・お金などなど、文明の利器をドラム缶に入れていき、アルコールを一缶注ぐ。

たぶん、物質文明に対する批判って感じのパフォーマンスのはずやけど、最初エッチな目線やったお客さんは爆発によりドン引き。

さてメキシコシティの観光。国立人類学博物館。
紀元前からの近代までのメキシコ中の遺跡、マヤの遺跡も展示されていて、見て回るのに数時間かかるのは必至。
Now tourism in Mexico City. National Museum of Anthropology
Ruins in Mexico from BC to the modern, and they are also on display in the Mayan ruins, take a look around a few hours is inevitable.


マヤ文明の遺跡より、イケニエの心臓を乗せる台
キッチュな顔してやる事はとってもザンコク。

国立人類学博物館の敷地内にも遺跡がある。

疲れ果てて朝方テントで眠り、ようやく朝日が昇る。とりあえず凍死の危険は無くなった。

このレイブの前日もルーツレゲエ・ダブのイベントに行ったけど、正直メキシコのアーティストはあんまし。
ばんばん音飛ばすし、盛り上がりも踊り狂う人も一部だけって感じ。　でもメキシコの音楽シーンは広く、イベントの数も多いので旅行者でもふらっと参加できるのが素敵。
I went to the roots reggae and dub event in the previous day, I felt Mexico artist has not so good skil.
often stop and skip music, only few people dancing crazy, no big deal and exciting things...
But Mexican music scene is large, you tourist can join many events so easy!

さぁこの日記、がむしゃらに遊びまわってるように見えますが、実はメキシコシティ滞在には目的があるのだ！
日本からの送ってもらった自転車の補給物資を受け取る。
Well, that looks fun, as it traveled in Mexico City, actually have a purpose!
Receive the luggage that sent from Japan.


待つ事10日間。念願の荷物到着！！
Panaracerから支給してもらってるタイヤ×４本。チューブ３本。世界地図帳に名刺、スントの画面ガード、カバンに貼る国旗's、スペイン語の教科書、旅行ルートマップ、薬などなど。
ちなみに現在大使館留めで荷物の受け取りはやってないらしく、大使が自ら出てきて30分みっちりお説教。　何回も連絡したのに・・。
To wait 10 days. my luggage arrived!!
Four Panaracer tiresand this three tubes. World Atlas, business card, Suunto screen guard, nartional flags for put my bag, books in Spanish, cycling route maps, and some drugs.
Incidentally, Baggage pickup with the embassy is now without the support,
Mexico's ambassador to direct us in our preaching. Even though I have contacted many times.


松屋町のように自転車屋が数十軒集まった通りでこまごました部品を購入。中南米への準備は播但道！！
Buy the remaining parts in a bicycle shop where a few dozen gathered, preparing to Latin America is everything!


そんでもって観光の締めくくりは同じ宿のカワイコちゃんとのデート。
Closing of the Mexico City Tourism, dating a beautiful woman who is staying in the same hotel!


アキバヘ！
パソコンのメモリが512Mでちょっと使えなさ過ぎるのでメモリを求めてこれまた日本橋のよな電気屋街へ。
PC関連アイテムは日本の1.5～2倍ほど。メモリは1G 5600円もしてあきらめる。

中南米最大の都市の夜景を中南米最高の建物から見下ろす。
すっげーロマンチックになってたのに実は隣の建物のほうが高かったりする・・。

あっそういや日記タイトルの年賀状やけど、届いてない人がけっこうおるみたい。
大阪在住関西エストのみんなの手紙をなっちゃんにまとめて送ったんやけど届いてないみたいやし、アメリカでお世話になった人にもいまだ・・。
莫大な時間と6000円をかけた超大作、消え去ることなく皆さんに届きますように！Correo Mexico、USpostal、郵便局、F○CK!!!

まぁそんなわけでぐぐっと２週間いまに近づいちゃいました！　時代よおれに追いついてこーい！！

乱世にあまねく光をもたらせ！！　～マヤ文明編～

仲良くなったトラック運ちゃんに連れられてメキシコシティに入り、中心地に向かう前にひとつ行っとくとこがある！
I entered Mexico city with the track driver, there is a thing to do before I go central Mexico!


この道なんかおかしい。分かるかな？

ウェルカムテオティワカン！
ここテオティワカンは紀元前２世紀頃に建造された、大小数十のピラミッドや神殿を持つ遺跡で、数学・天文学の高い知識を持つ民がいた。
最大20万人の人口を誇ったものの、８世紀ごろに突如滅亡する。現在世界遺産に指定されている。
むつかしく言うとこんな感じやけどあれです、マヤ文明です！！
マヤが何か知らんけど世界で３番目のおっきさのピラミッドなどなど、こりゃあ行っとかないと！！
Welcome to Teotihuacan!
This heritage has several tens piramids and partsanctuaries built in 200B.C. the inhabitants had knowledges about mathematics and astronomy.
max population was 200000, but suddenly ruined misteriously. now recognated the world cultural heritage of UNESCO.
Ummm... so difficult. anyway! Here is Maya! There's 3rd biggest piramid of the world!!
