マヤのハイライト、ティカル遺跡。demo,,, No more ruins! ～Guatemala Tikal ruins編～
さてさて、強盗あったり実はコスタリカまで走ってたりしますが、日記はまだまだグアテマラです(笑)
７カ国目のグアテマラに入って、まず目指したフローレス島。
ここは陸から橋で繋がった湖に浮かぶ島で、歩いても15分ほどで一周できる、コロニアル建築いっぱいかわいい島。
In fact, I'm in Costa Rica now. but this blog is still Guatemala.
first distination of Guatemala is Flores island where is base of visit Tikal ruins.
朝６時発のバンに揺られ、目指すはティカル遺跡。
もうマヤの遺跡は飽きたよって声が聞こえてきそうですが、これがラストです(笑)
ちっちゃいのも合わしたらもう10個くらい見てるんちゃうかと思うマヤ文明の遺跡。
ティカル遺跡はそのハイライトにふさわしいのだ！！
テオティワカンとかパレンケ遺跡が有名で日本人にはあんまり馴染みがない名前やけど、海外を旅するバックパッカーの間ではここが一番人気だったりする。
I visited about 10 Mayan ruins. This is the highlights!!
this is not so famous in Japan.
but this is the most popular ruins for backpackers!
朝６時発でジャングルから朝日が昇るのを見れるツアーのはずが、バンの中で普通に日が昇る。
とはいえ着いた頃にちょうど遺跡の入り口はオープン。他にも旅行者はいっぱいおったけど、みんなガイドを雇う手続きとかしててほぼ一番乗り！！
I left 6am to Tikal. but sun risen on the way to there.
and this is entry gate.
ほんまは先に中入ったけど、博物館から紹介。
これが1800年代のティカル遺跡の様子。
ってかその頃カメラはあったんか？

こんな小径を歩いていく。
この遺跡は大きく、観光するのに４～５時間はかかる。
ゲートから最初の遺跡まででも30分以上歩く。
Well, go to ruins.
it's need a half hour to arrive first piramid.
there are some piramids haven't diged up yet.
like a small hill
見えてきた目的のピラミッド！
裏側には上るための階段がついてる。
There is a stairs to top.
上ったピラミッドと写真のピラミッドは向かい合わせ。
大体50mくらいやっけ？忘れた。
The 50m heights piramids satand face to face.
ピラミッドの上から見ると、高い木の上に何やら乗っかってる。
ここら辺のジャングルでよく見たもので、ずっと不思議に思ってた。
I found some plants called air plant on the tree.
下から見るとこんな感じ。
We can see like this from ground.
キ○タマみたいにぶら下がってる時もある。
this too.
そうそう、こうゆう時もある。

・・じゃなくて、正体です。
いま日本で話題沸騰のスカイツリーならぬ、エアープラント。
どないかして木の上に勝手に寄生する。
たまに落ちてきて人々をアフロにする。

切り出した石と、積んでいくための足場。
The repairing scene.

修復に使う漆喰を作る場所。
the place to make a mortal.
半分修復が終わりました。

アナグマ(?)が木に登ってたり、
There are so many kinds animals here.
this is a badgel on the tree.
派手な鳥がのしのし歩いてる。これで80cmくらいある。
Gaily bird walking. they dont fly.
Stone monuments.
このピラミッドにはいくつか中に続く穴がある。
This lower piramid has the some halls continue to inside.
立ち入り禁止の看板があるだけで、奥ふかーくには石室があるらしい。
むっちゃ入りたいけど、、、ダメ！ゼッタイ！
さてさて、入り口から１時間くらいかかる一番奥にあるピラミッド。
これが一番高く、70m以上もある。
登れるようになってるけど、この感じ・・。
つくづく、この遺跡は来る人を選びます(笑)

上まで登ると、こんだけしか場所がない。

足を滑らすと一直線に・・・
Fall this height if sliped.
裏のほうから声がして、見てみると。
何の用があるんか知らんけど、そんな崖っぷちで電話せんでも・・・
There was a person who is calling at edge of cliff. why...
I dont know why but there are so many people loves edge of cliff.
思い返せば、いろんなところで崖っぷちの人々を見てきた。
これはメキシコのテオティワカン遺跡。崖っぷちで１時間以上キスし続ける周りの空気を読めないカップル。
This was Teotihuacan in Mexico.
this couple flirt at the edge and made kissing noise unpleasant to our ear.
これはヨセミテ。 命がけの昼寝。
They naped on the edge with the risk of them life @ Yosemite.
一心不乱に鼻くそをほじくる中国人。
このあと彼に写真とってもらいました。鼻くそほじった手で。
This Chinese man picked him nose intently with the risk of them life.
話は戻ってこれがティカルの名物風景！
地平線まで続くジャングルにふたつポコッと飛び出したピラミッド。

実際は結構距離があって、小さくしか見えへん。
ティカル遺跡をむちゃくちゃ楽しみにしてできるだけ前知識入れへんようにして行ったけど、楽しみにしすぎてた分だけちょっとがっかりかな。ってか、同じような遺跡を見すぎて正直食傷気味。

in fact, there is so distance to two piramids. I letdown little...
I think cause of I saw too much Mayan ruins.

来た道を１時間かけてフローレス島に戻る。
ここは夕方になると毎日雨が降る。
本格的な雨季はもうすぐそこまで来てる。
雨が早いか、南米に抜けるのが早いか。
不思議と、何とかなりそうな気はしてる(笑)
back to Flores isl.
